Cause of Accident: Telegram from Associated Press to read: Associated Press telephones following message received from Greensburg, PA quote:
Eight men were reported to have been killed in Ocean Mine of Berwyn-White Coal Company at Herminie, PA, by fall of slate.
One report said men were caught while passing through an entry far in the mine.  Others declared they were descending the shaft when side collapsed.
